Transforming an unsightly slope or rocky mound in your garden is easier when you have the right plants and know-how. Skagit County Master Gardener, Dixie Mitchell, presents a slideshow featuring the history of rock gardens with specific examples from Skagit Valley.
Her instruction will focus on the home gardener’s challenge to choose plants that are best suited for sun and shade and point out low-maintenance ground huggers that don’t mind poor soil but do need good drainage to survive.
