Each year, over twenty different Garden Creators from around the Pacific Northwest put their blood, sweat and tears into their display gardens. These incredible works of art, constructed in under 72 hours on the show floor, are central to what makes the Northwest Flower & Garden Festival a world-renowned experience of garden design and innovation. This year’s Garden Creators will aim to evoke “Spring Fever” as festival-goers will be allowed closer to the gardens than ever before.

CITY LIVING
Staged on the Convention Center’s Skybridge spanning Pike Street far below, 10 delightful patio gardens offer lots of practical ideas and inspiration with container garden design, especially for apartment and condo dwellers or anyone with limited space for outdoor living.
BLOOMS & BUBBLES
Join us for Blooms & Bubbles – an exciting floral design workshop at the Northwest Flower & Garden Festival! Every day at 2:00 PM, sip on a glass of champagne while creating a fabulous make-and-take project led by a local floral design expert. Includes show admission, all necessary workshop materials, a glass of champagne to sip on, and more. Learn more.
CONTAINER WARS
Container Wars returns with fast-paced fun and ideas for great container gardens. You’ll get a first-hand look at dueling gardening experts creating beautiful and practical containers while sharing helpful tips during their 60-minute demonstration. The action will be emceed by syndicated gardening columnist and television host Marianne Binetti with some fabulous audience giveaways!
COMMUNITY PLANT CENTER
Visit the Community Plant Center to talk with local non-profit educational organizations, discover regional classes and tours from public gardens, and get a rare opportunity to purchase unique plants from these gardens.
KID’S TREASURE HUNT
Every year the Gardens Creators “hide” an item somewhere in their display garden. Look for the hidden treasure and record where you find it – find them all to get a blooming prize to take home! This year’s Treasure Hunt is sponsored by West Seattle Nursery.
OPENING NIGHT PARTY
Every year, the Festival kicks off with a celebratory evening benefiting the non-profit Arboretum Foundation. Hosted on Tuesday, February 25, from 5 to 9 PM, party guests with get the first look at the display gardens and enjoy a celebratory dinner, dazzling entertainment, and unique items and experiences up for grabs in the silent and live auctions.
