2011 was a great year at the Nursery. It was busy and fun from beginning to end. There were memorable events, great classes, new and familiar faces, and of course, an awe-inspiring, never ending array of incredible plants. Given all this, we’ve created an online photo book on our Facebook page to showcase just some of the year’s highlights. As the saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand words. Enjoy!

Welcome to our new website and our first blog entry! When we sat down to design our new site we knew we wanted to create a website experience that reflects the spirit of our nursery; friendly, down-to-earth and nostalgic yet also professional and informative. We want our nursery and our website to be a welcoming, reliable resource for both novice gardeners and seasoned experts.
Yet a technical undertaking such as designing a new website was a stretch for us. After all, we are plant people (fanatics actually). We are simply head-over-heels for plants and all things gardening. The other big part of who we are is our passion for preserving Skagit Valley history. We have rescued and restored many historical structures and we are advocates of heritage gardening practices.
So…back to the website…we needed to create a technical tool that is helpful to our customers yet also an extension of who we are and all that we care about. We hope this website strikes that balance. Thanks for visiting and please come back often!
By the way, our website was designed and built by “Watered Roots Design“. They were fabulous to work with and we recommend them highly!
