The Center for Disease Control updated mask guidelines on May 13 for fully vaccinated people not to wear masks indoors or outdoors. Washington State has adopted them and
Christianson’s Nursery continues to adhere to the COVID-19 guidelines which means that if you are fully vaccinated, you are welcome to shop the Nursery without a mask. We appreciate it when those who are not fully vaccinated wear their masks while shopping indoors at the Garden Store and Primrose Antiques and Gift Shop.
Thank you for your cooperation!
Weddings at the Schoolhouse, Rose Garden, and Front Greenhouse
Christianson’s Schoolhouse is a poetic venue for a garden wedding. Peaceful and elegant, the 1888 Meadow Schoolhouse is the oldest remaining one-room schoolhouse in Northwest Washington.
Views from the Schoolhouse include Mount Baker and panoramic farmland, a sweeping grass lawn, boxwood, and espaliered apple hedges outlining an English Rose Garden.
The newest addition to our wedding venue is the restored Front Greenhouse with its ornately framed finial rooftop. Uniquely Christianson’s, our Front Greenhouse has meandering paver walkways leading to architectural perspectives and is a lovely experience when celebrating your Big Day or special occasion.
Meadow Schoolhouse Wedding Package:
Enjoy the charm of the fully restored Meadow Schoolhouse (20′ x 30′) which seats up to 50 guests, an English Rose Garden accommodating up to 120 guests in an 80-foot square sweeping grass lawn lined with boxwood hedges and perennials, a Bridal Cottage equipped with vanity, outlets, mirrors, “Jill” access to the restroom, and our new Oak Room, which is a changing room for Grooms and Partners, just steps away from the Bridal Cottage.
